Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that the government is committed for the welfare of the employees and those working for implementing the schemes and programs in the state. At a friendly meeting with staff of IKP and employment guarantee scheme at Sanga Reddy in Medak district the minister said that government recently hiked their salary by 40 per cent. It is good to see that these staff patiently waited for a salary hike and asked them to put in more efforts to reach the schemes to the unreached. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for the cause of the poor and lower cader staff and employees. Though not mentioned in the TRS manifesto the government is implementing welfare schemes like Rs 1 a kilo rice and six kgs for everyone, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak to offer financial assistance to the poor girl in the state. The government also spending huge money for implementing welfare schemes like pensions he maintained.
