Telangana Rashtra Samiti Senior leader and Siddipeta MLA T. Harish Rao has demanded the state government to declare Health Emergency in the state. He came down heavily on the state government, saying it was in deep slumber while Dengue fever was spreading in the state. Though people were suffering from diseases, the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has failed to take care of them.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Harish Rao alleged that sanitation works were not properly conducted in the villages. He demanded the state government to announce Rs.one lakh ex-gratia to the kin of the diseased persons with Dengue fever. He wanted that Dengue fever be included in the Arogyasri scheme. He said that TRS MLAs would visit Dengue affected villages shortly.
Responding to Congress MP from Eluru, Kavuri Shambasiva rao’s remarks that Andhra Pradesh should remain United, Harish Rao said there was no sincerity in his statement, and he was resorting to black-mail politics to obstruct Telangana state. He said that it was their aim to achieve Telangana state before 2014 general elections. He said that they know what measures they have to adopt to achieve Telangana state if the central government failed to announce separate state. He reiterated that the congress party would lose its ground in the state if it failed to concede separate Telangana state.
