Harish vows to develop Siddipet

Hyderabad: Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao today reiterated that Chief Minister will start Siddipet as new district on Dasara festival day.
Distributing clay Ganesh idols to the people at a program in Siddipet constituency, he said that similar idols were being distributed for the last six years. One should use only clay Ganesh idols to avoid polluting waters while immersion, he urged the people. The Minister stated that the town was all set to develop on par with any other town and city with all facilities and infrastructure. The new districts are meant for easy administration and speedy delivery of transparent services to the people.
“We are fortunate that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently laid foundation stone for a new railway lane of Kothapalli- Manoharabad for better connectivity in the district”, he said. Godavari waters will be brought to the town and adjoining areas to irrigate crops and also to provide drinking waters to the people. A new outer ring road to come up will improve the road transport and improve connectivity, he said. It was good omen that our town will be a new district for witnessing a rapid growth and development in the days to come the minister remarked. (NSS)
