Harish thanks Karnataka for 1 Tmc water

Hyderabad: Finally the efforts of T Harish Rao got fructified with Karnataka agreeing to release 1 TMC waters for the purpose of drinking water facility for Mahabubnagar district. Recently Harish Rao appealed to his Karnataka counterpart and sought his help in mitigating water woes as the TRS Government is on a mission for speedy completion of the projects.

The Karnataka Government has informed to Harish Rao that one tmc waters will be released to the Palamur district. Water resources principal secretary of Karntaka informed to the TRS Government that it will release 1TMC waters from Narayanapur dam to the district. Harish Rao expressed pleasure at the gesture of the Karnataka government. The minister also extended thanks for the announcement and sought timely help in future as it will strengthen the relations between riparian states, he added. (NSS)
