Telangana Legislature Affairs Minister T Harish Rao today held meetings with the Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary and Council Chairman Swamy Goud at Assembly premises here. Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, additional DGP Sudeep Laktakia were also present on the occasion.
The meeting went on for about an hour and discussed on smooth and fair conduct of Assembly Budget session that will begin on March 7 and end on 27. Harish Rao asked the officials to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the assembly proceedings as the Andhra Pradesh Assembly session is also slated to commence on the same date. Keeping the clash of two important sessions of two Telugu States, the officials should be extra cautious, Harish directed. He asked the officials to coordinate with police officials to monitor strictly the parking of vehicles, their entry and exit at the Assembly and the Council.
The Governor ESL Narasimhan is likely to address the AP Assembly first and then the Telangana Assembly session. (NSS)
