Harish Rao slams TDP Govt. on Srisailam Power

Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today took serious exception to Andhra Pradesh Government for writing to Centre against power production at Srisailam project.
Talking to mediapersons, Harish Rao condemned the attitude of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for writing a letter to the Centre on power. He demanded that the TD leaders in Telangana should come out with clarity on whether the power in Srisailam project be continued or stopped. Is this the right action of TD Government, which is indulging in mounting pressure on the Centre to stop power generation at Srisailam?, he asked. This is a deliberate attempt to cause hardship to Telangana State which is facing shortfall of power, he charged. There cannot be any stoppage of power production at Srisailam project, he said.
The TD Government, if has any love on Telugus in Telangana, should not stop power that ought to be supplied to our State, Harish said. He sought to know from the Telangana TD leaders as to why their chief was coming in the way of development of Telangana. Why do they not ask Naidu to supply power due to Telangana?.The people of the State are seriously watching the partisan attitude of Naidu Government which is shedding crocodile tears, he charged.
