Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao lashed out at the opposition parties for saying that they would approach courts against the government’s decision to reorganize the districts.
The minister who was here to attend a meeting on irrigation projects said that the comments to opposition parties that they will stall the re-organisation of districts shows that they were against the development of the state and they were stalling the welfare programme of the government. He appealed the people of the state not to fall prey to the propaganda by the Opposition parties and chase them from their villages if they find them.
The Opposition parties are envious as the delimitation would bring good name to Chief Minister and the TRS government and hence they were resorting to all sorts of gimmicks, the minister said. Claiming that the delimitation process was going on in a scientific manner, Harish challenged the Opposition to come for an open debate at the cross roads of either Siddipet or Jagtial. (INN)9
