Harish Rao blames Police for not implementing Prez order

TRS member in the Legislative Assembly Mr Hasrish Rao has stated that though the Government has announced that Hyderabad was not a free zone, and got the clause removed from the Presidential Order, the police department was not implementing it in promotion of Sub-Inspectors in Mahaboobnagar , Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts.

Raising the issue during zero hour, he said that when questioned about it, the IGs were claiming that they have not received orders in this regard, he said and wanted the Government to issue orders immediately in this regard.

GUNTUR AUTONAGAR

Congress Member Masthan Vali urged the government to take up works for facelift of roads in Guntur Auto Nagar, which was second largest Auto Nagar in the State. He also demanded for development of infrastructure at Guntur Auto Nagar. The Guntur Auto Nagar was providing livelihood to nearly 50,000 people.

Congress MLA Vijay Kumar regretted that the officials of the Housing Corporation were imposing cuts while returning the amount paid by the people for houses under Rajiv Gruhakalpa and Rajiv Swagruha schemes. Instead of paying interest on the amount of applicants, the officials were retuning less amount than what they actually paid, on the pretext of formalities. He demanded that bank interest should be paid to the applicants, who requested for return of their amount due to delay in execution of the project.

The CPI member DR Chandravathi said that the main source of drinking water for Vira was Vira tank. The drinking water was being supplied to the people in Vira once in two-days, but the water from Vira tanks was being supplied to other places daily. A mobile water tank should be kept at every mandal head quarter under Summer Action Plan, he said and demanded for setting up of separate water tank in Vira and filter bed plant.

TEMPLE LAND ENCROACHMENT

The BJP floor leader Laxminarayana urged the government to protect the lands belonging to Vakula Matha temple at Pelurugutta from encroachment. The land belongs to Hanuman temple at Asif Nagar, which was handed over to private persons by a district officer, and it should be transferred back to the temple. (NSS)
