Telangana irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today emphasized it was responsibility of all, particularly officers of Irrigation department to work for realizing dreams of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Harish Rao was speaking after releasing a diary of Telangana Irrigation Officers’ Association at the Secretariat. “We can achieve our aim of one lakh acre of irrigation if water of Krishna and Godavari rivers were utilized properly”, the minister said. Taking a dig at the Opposition, Harish Rao said they were trying to prevent irrigation projects as they do not want to provide water to farmers for irrigation. Opposition parties are trying to create obstacles in acquiring land also, he alleged.
