Telangana Telugu Desam party leader A. Revanth Reddy, who is noted for making sarcastic comments against the TRS Government on its priorities and policies, today suggested a change of guard.
Interacting with a few scribes in the Assembly Lobbies on Tuesday, Revanth said T Harish Rao could be better Chief Minister if he replaces K Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS Government, instead of encouraging defections should focus on governance, he said. “If Harish Rao is made CM, he could give better governance than KCR”, he quipped. As there is no governance in Telangana State, there is a need for a change of guard, he felt. “Once KCR said his ancestors belonged to Bihar State”, he said and wanted to know why the government failed to protest against the Centre on officials’ bifurcation.
