Harika wins bronze at World Cup

Harika was addressing the media after being felicitated for winning Bronze Medal at the recently concluded World Women’s Chess Championship 2-15 at Russia. She was felicitated by Sahyadri Industries Ltd & Lakshya. The Indian Grandmaster lost to eventual champion Mariya Muzhychuk of Ukraine in the semifinals of World Chess championship at Sochi, Russia. The 24-year-old suffered a defeat after being on the verge of winning the penultimate game in the tie break against Mariya Muzhychuk. (NSS)
