BJP leader K Haribabu has been appointed party’s Seemandhra region president.
BJP national president Rajnath Singh rang up Haribabu and informed him about his appointment as president of the Seemandhra region. Haribabu is also a member of BJP national disciplinary committee.
Haribabu was elected to the Assembly on BJP ticket from Visakjhapatnam-1 in 1999. He also actively participated in Jai Andhra agitation in 1972. With the appointment of Haribabu as Seemandhra region, G Kishan Reddy is likely to continue as president of Telangana region. (NSS)
