Harbhajan Singh, former Indian off-spinner took to Twitter and expressed shock at the selectors’ decision to not include Mayank Agarwal for the upcoming Asia Cup 2018.
The selectors decided to rest skipper Virat Kohli and in his absence, Rohit Sharma will be leading the Indian cricket team. There were not many surprises in the team with the exception of 20-year old fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed who received his maiden senior team call-up.
Surprised by Mayank Agarwal’s exclusion, Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter and wrote: “Where is Mayank Agarwal ??? After scoring so many runs I don’t see him in the squad … different rules for different people I guess.”
The Chairman of selectors MSK Prasad defended their decision to include Agarwal in the squad and said that his chance will come sooner than later.
