Happy to be back to form after injury: Yuvraj

Jaipur, October 04: Out of favour for the Indian Test team, Yuvraj Singh today refused to read much on the timing of his double ton against Mumbai in the Irani Trophy and said he was happy to be back to form after an injury lay-off.

“I don’t care about the timing. I wanted to be back in form after long lay off due to injury. I am happy that I did it,” said Yuvraj, skipper of Rest of India against Mumbai in the Irani Trophy match.

“I was just trying to play straight in initial phase and was resolute to post a big score. I was trying to play on merit of the ball. The pitch was nice and the ball was coming nicely at the bat,” he added.

Yuvraj said he does not think that the declaration came rather late.
