New Delhi: As per the UN World Happiness Index report, India’s ranking has fallen down from 133 to 140. The country finds its name in the list of lowest 20 countries of the 156 nations.
According to the report published in Hindustan Times, India along with Yemen, Syria, Botswana and Venezuela has witnessed the largest drop in the ranking since 2005-2008
It may be mentioned that Finland has topped the list.
Among the major countries, the United Kingdom ranked 15 whereas the ranks of Germany, the US, Japan, Russia and China are 17, 19, 58, 68 and 93 respectively.
