New Delhi [India]: Titled ‘Hanuman: Images Beyond Imagination’, visual artist Charuvi Agrawal is organizing an art exhibition in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts (IGNCA), here, between April 10- April 30 from 10:30 am – 7:00pm.
The artist will exhibit paintings, a short award-winning film, painted cabinets and the 26,000 bells of light sculpture.
It is a solo exhibition in collaboration with IGNCA showcasing the artist’s project on The Hanuman Chalisa. The artwork is centred around an award winning animated short film Shri Hanuman Chalisa of which the largest one is a 25 feet Hanuman sculpture titled 26,000 Bells Of Light.
Painted Kavads, paintings and the film will be on display with each piece made using mixed media in a contemporary avatar.
According to Visual Artist Charuvi Agrawal, owner of Charuvi Design Lab- Working in a diverse array of materials, “I create installations, paintings, animation and design that take inspiration from the nuances of human senses and experiments with them in the work. I believe in pushing the boundaries of the work through a unique blend of art, technology and experimental storytelling and this you can experience in the exhibition.” (ANI)
