Hamas holds meeting with Egyptian Intelligence officials

Mousa Abu Marzouq Senior Hamas leader said that a delegation from Gaza had held a ‘comprehensive meeting’ with Egypt’s intelligence officials in Cairo.

He took to Twitter to write about the official important meeting, where he said, “discussed most of the issues related to all the Palestinians, mainly [the] brothers in the Gaza Strip,” Middle East Monitor reported.

The meeting was arranged on an invitation from the Egypt officials were the two parties have discussed “mutual relations and the latest Palestinian and Arabic developments.”

The delegation from Hamas included Hamas Deputy Leader Saleh Al-Arouri and senior leaders Khalil Al-Hayyah, Hussam Badran, Izzat Al-Resheq, Rawhi Mushtaha, and Abu Marzouq.

Apart from Hamas delegation, Fatah, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) were also invited to Cairo for the talks.
