The problems of retired class

After the untimely death of former CM Rajsekhar Reddy, the political situation in the state turned from bad to worse. Now, the situation has reached to non-co-operation level, which is likely to make the management infrastructure of the government, defunct.

In these circumstances, who would come forward to solve the problems of the retired class of the society? The representatives of the government had provided a good door-to-door service through Richchabanda programme in order to eradicate various problems.

On the other hand the representatives of the pensioned class is putting pressure on the government to clear their long due problems. But alas! The government is in no mood to do any favour to the pensioned class.

It seems that the government does not consider the employees and the pensioned class belonging to the weaker section. In these days of dearness, it has become very difficult for the pensioned class to meet both the ends.

Even in order to get the dearness allowance from the government, we have to fight a lot which is payable from January 2011.

It is still unknown when the government is going to approve this? In these days of uncertainty, it is also rumored that the payment of pension itself would likely to get delayed, leave alone the dearness allowance.

The representatives of the union should pay immediate attention.
