Hyderabad: Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh on Sunday said it was decided to extend half-a-day schools for one more week from June 17 to 22 to the schools of all managements in the State due to scorching heat wave conditions prevailed in the State.
In a circular, the Commissioner directed all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Education Officers in the State to conduct half-a-half day schools from June 17 to 22 from 8 am to 12.30 pm. He also stated that all schools should function as full day schools from June 24 in the State.
