Central Hajj Committee of India, Mumbai has invited applications from Govt. employees for appointment as Hajj Volunteers for the Hajj season 2015. Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Telangana State Hajj Committee informed that Govt. employees, employees of Public Sector, Policemen, Home Guards and other Govt. undertakings are eligible to apply. A candidate should be between 25 and 50 years of age as on 1st July 2015 and he should have already performed Hajj earlier. He should have his passport effective till 31st March 2016. Separate Hajj volunteers will be appointed for Telangana and A.P. States. For every 300 Hajj pilgrims, there will be one Hajj volunteer. The candidate should be well versed with Hajj rituals and proficiency in Arabic language. If any adverse report is received by Ministry of External Affairs, the entire amount spent on Hajj volunteer would be recovered. Filled in applications along with necessary certificate should be submitted in the office of Hajj Committee.
