Riyadh: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, on Sunday chaired a meeting of a committee investigating the hajj stampede which occurred last month. He was updated on the progress of the investigation.
It is to be noted that hajj stampede occurred on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, which was on 24th September 2015.
The task of the committee is to find out the causes of the stampede and submit the report to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman.
Crown Prince asked the committee’s members to find out the truth. He prayed to Allah (SWT) to accept the martyrs and also wished the speedy recovery of the injured persons.
