Central Hajj Committee has decided to refund Rs. 3000-5000 to the Hajj pilgrims of 2013 as a result of savings after deducting the expenses.
Mr. Ataur Rahman, Chief CEO Central Hajj Committee told that on account of changed exchange rates of foreign currency reduction in Airport fee, insurance premium and reduction of quantity of zamzam water form 10 liters to 5 liters , saving was noticed. It has therefore been decided to refund the saved amount to the Hajj pilgrims. He also told that the expenses of the Hajj season of 2014 are being scrutinized. After finalization of the accounts, if surplus amount is found, it will be distributed to the Hajj pilgrims.
