State Hajj committee has received 7440 applications so far for Hajj 2014 while more than 14000 applications were received in the entire state. Hajj committee hopes that this year applications will be submitted more than the fixed quota. The last date of acceptance of Hajj forms is March 15.
Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that 723 applications were received under reserved quota which will be accepted without Qurra. 255 applications have been received under septuagenarian category while 468 applications are of those whose application was rejected for three consecutive years. There are 22 people who have already performed Hajj last year; their application will be rejected.
