Hyderabad, September 9: As previous year, this year too, the journalists had been kept at bay from the Hajj committee meetings. Hajj committee meeting was conducted day before yesterday in connection with the preparation of Hajj 2011 but Hajj committee chairman didn’t bother to brief the media regarding the proceedings of the meeting.
Similarly a meeting of concerned departments was held under the supervision of Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Mohammad Ahmedullah but the minister didn’t invite media correspondents. Media was kept away from both the meetings to avoid questions regarding probable difficulties during Hajj 2011.
According to sources Hajj committee chairman had directed not to call press persons.
