Hyderabad, September 14: Hajj committee is gearing up for Hajj 2011. Andhra Pradesh state Hajj committee has invited tenders for catering services during Hajj camp but despite release of tenders no decision has been taken for giving away the tender till now.
According to the reports received late night Hajj committee authorities have given catering responsibility to AA caterers during Hajj camp on the cost of 102.50 Rs per head/ per day. Last year also the same catering company had taken the responsibility to provide food during Hajj camp. It is quite surprising that the same company had provided food last year for 115 Rs per head/per day and earlier it had submitted the tender for 125 Rs per head/per day.
Food arrangements for more than 300 people including Hajj committee employees and workers working during Hajj camp besides 300 Hajj aspirants are made by the Andhra Pradesh State Hajj committee.
