Hyderabad, November 01: State Hajj aspirants stranded at Hajj terminal of Shamsabad airport due to technical snag in the Saudi Airlines flight. The flight had to take off at 5:40 as per schedule but it was reported to the Hajj committee by Saudi airlines that the flight would be delayed.
The airlines staff kept flipping the schedule eventually it was told that the flight would take off at 9 pm on which the Hajj committee sent the aspirants to airport without dinner. When the aspirants reached the airport it was found that the flight had not reached from Madina.
After reminder by Hajj committee members, aspirants were provided with Biryani packets by the airlines. The weary aspirants kept waiting but the flight could not reach till 12:30. After a long wait the irked aspirants ran out of patience still they were on the mercy of airlines authorities.
Inspite of the reports of Hajj aspirants being stuck at airport, neither the concerned minister could reach the airport nor Hajj committee chairman took trouble to ask about their welfare.
