Hajj aspirants face inconvenience for vaccination

Hyderabad, October 19: Most of the Hajj aspirants reaching Hajj house yesterday faced disappointment. AP state Hajj committee had called Hajj aspirants having cover number 1 to 700 who had to be vaccinated by Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM). In addition to that polio drops and swine flue vaccination had to be given to children under 14 years and adults over 65 years.

Most of the Hajj aspirants who reached Hajj house faced disappointment as some irresponsible volunteers told them that the vaccines were over and asked them to come the next day, while AP state Hajj committee had plenty of vaccine stock supplied by IPM.

Hajj aspirants complained that after a long wait they were asked to come back the next day as the vaccines are finished, on which hajj aspirants returned in great annoyance. No responsible person of the Hajj committee was there to listen to their complaint.

It must be noted that the Hajj committee has arranged for vaccination at Asra Hospital too to avoid crowd at one place.

As per the Hajj committee reports Hajj aspirants belonging to Ranga Reddy can also get vaccinated at Hajj house along with those belonging to Hyderabad.

Vaccination will be given at Hajj house from morning 10:30 to 3 pm and in addition to that vaccination facility is also provided at Asra Hospital from morning 10 to 2 pm.
