The first training camp for intending Hajj pilgrims was held by Andhra Pradesh State Hajj Committee. With this began the effective and comprehensive training programme for Hajj aspirants. Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal IPS Commissioner Minority Welfare Department inaugurated the camp and urged the aspirants to retain the spirit of Hajj even when they return to home country after performing the holy pilgrimage. He also advised them to keep in view custom and airlines rules and regulations so as to avoid any trouble or embarrassment.
Mr. Iqbal told that the government not only provides facilities to Hajj aspirants within the country but appoints Khadimul Hujjaj to help and guide pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. He requested the Hajj aspirants to pray for the development and prosperity of the country. The camp was conducted at Hi-tech Garden Function Hall, Wahed Nagar, Malakpet, which was attended by a large number of intending pilgrims.
