Hajj 2017 aspirants advised to get their passports ready

Hyderabad: Hajj Season 2017 will soon begin. Application forms are likely to be issued in the last week of December. Special Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that preparation of Hajj Season 2017 was reviewed in a recent meeting held by Hajj Committee of India.

Prof. S A Shukoor further said that those who aspire for Hajj 2017 should get their passports ready. If they already have passport they should make sure that their passports are machine readable passports and that they are valid till March 31, 2018. If not they should renew their passports. Those whose passports are not ready must apply for the same at the earliest so that they can get their passports ready till Hajj forms are issued.

Prof. Shukoor further informed that during Hajj 2016 Hajj expenses were Rs 220550 under Green Category and Rs. 186650 under Azizia category. This year expenses are likely to get increased a little bit.
