New Delhi: The death toll of Indian pilgrims, who died in the Haj stampede, has risen to 101 and around 32 are still missing.
“Saudi authorities have identified more pilgrims who died in Haj stampede. The toll of Indian pilgrims is now 101. We have 32 missing,” External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted today.
Consulate General India of Jeddah also said that it would facilitate the visit of the relatives of missing pilgrims to the Mossaim mortuary to confirm the details of the deceased pilgrims as the Saudi Authorities had announced only names and the nationalities of the deceased in the Stampede. (ANI)
