The Haj Chartered Flights by Air India will commence from August 13 from the Hyderabad Embarkation Point, announced Prof. SA Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee in a media release here on Thursday.
Prof. Shukoor said that the Haj Committee of India has finalized the Haj Flight schedule, according to which the pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point will start leaving for Jeddah from August 13 to 22 with each flights carrying 450 pilgrims. A total of 6,300 pilgrims of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring districts of Karnataka will leave for Jeddah in 14 flights to be operated in 10 days from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. There will be two Khadim-ul-Hujjaj in each flight.
He further said that the pilgrims after performing Haj rituals and visiting Madeena al Munnawara will start returning back from 20th to 29th September. (INN)
