President Jamiatul Ulama Andhra Pradesh Maulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed (MLC), called on Mrs. Sonia Gandhi’s political advisor Mr. Ahmed Patel and discussed about the issues confronted by the Muslim minorities and stressed the need to take immediate measures to resolve the them. During his meeting with Ahmed Patel, Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed also submitted a note on Muslim issues.
Maulana Shabbir Ahmed explained to him about the resolution passed by the Jamiat-ul-Ulama conference.
