Minority Welfare Department has appointed Hafez Ahsan bin Mohammed Al-Hamoomi as Khateeb Shahi Masjid, Public Garden. His father Hafez Mohammed bin Abdur Rahman took voluntary retirement from his post as Khateeb. Accepting his retirement application, the government appointed his son Hafez Ahsan bin Mohammed Al-Hamoomi as Khateeb on contract basis on the monthly salary of Rs. 11500.
Special secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel issued orders in this connection. Hafez Ahsan bin Mohammed Al-Hamoomi has been directed to report District Minority Welfare Officer and take charge of his duties. The contract stated that the appointment is on contract basis and the government has right to cancel the appointment during the contract period by issuing one month notice.
