Karachi : Pakistan batting all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has expressed confidence that his side will put their best foot forward in their bid to lift the World Twenty 20 title for a second time.
Although the 35-year-old admitted that his side are not playing to the best of their abilities in the T20 format in recent times, a confident Hafeez added that Pakistan would be putting their best performances in the format’s pinnacle event, PakPassion.net reported.
Hafeez, who is currently playing for Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing Pakistan Super League, said that his side are confident of a good showing, insisting that every team is beatable.
Pakistan, which lifted the coveted trophy in 2009, recently lost the three-match T20 series against New Zealand 1-2 and will feature in the Asia Cup starting on February 24. (ANI)
