Commissioner’s Task Force sleuths of South Zone today nabbed a habitual house burglar, who was involved in 23 cases and recovered gold and silver ornaments and three cell phones all worth about Rs 4.25 lakh.
According to S Chaitanya Kumar, Addl DCP, main accused Sk Shahrukh and his accomplice Mazhar, both auto drivers, committed six house burglaries under the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates. He said Sk Sharukh of Chaderghat area started committing house burglaries since 2011 when he was a juvenile. He went to jail several times. In 2015, he was detained under PD Act by the Santosh Nagar police.
The Addl DCP said that after his release from detention, he again started committing crimes under Bahadurpura police limits and was arrested on April 9 this year. Again after his release from jail in in June, he committed six offences under the limits of Chilkalguda and Osmania University police stations. On a specific input, the sleuths nabbed him along with his accomplice and recovered the booty. The duo was handed over to the Rajendranagar Police. (NSS)
