Guv to meet Rajnath on section 8, cash row today

In the wake of political slugfest reached to climax with ACB is all set to issue notices to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on cash for vote bribery case, Governor ESL Narasimhan today left for national capital here on Thursday evening. The Governor of common capital is to meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at around 11 am and may discuss on the controversial turned issue of section 8 and cash for vote scam that bewildered the two Telugu states. A section of media was abuzz with speculation at secretariat that the Centre is pondering options to replace Narasimhan with senior party leader like Najma Heptullah.

It was stated that the AP leaders who are seeking the incumbent’s head for some time, now pressing the Centre to replace the Governor and the BJP leadership may prefer Nazma Heptullah for the top post. It is being flaunted that KCR has reportedly asked the ACB to serve notices to his AP counterpart avoiding delay. If that is the case Naidu may have to turn up to give his version on the purported audio voice in “cash for vote scam” it is said. The ACB submitted a detailed report to the court in this regard for further action. At this critical juncture, the Centre summoned Narasimhan to Delhi and likely to offer solution to cash for vote scam and section 8 it is learnt. (NSS)
