Governor E L Narsimhan today said that steps will be taken to conserve birds at Raj Bhawan and other places as well. He was addressing the gathering after releasing posters for the conservation of birds, a campaign launched by the environmental education wing of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board. He stressed the need to protect birds’ nests. On the occasion Vimla Narsimhan (lady governor) also supported the campaign. Two posters were released on the occasion.
