Governor ESL Narasimhan today Monday paid rich tributes to Surjit Singh Barnala, former Governor of united Andhra Pradesh, who passed away on Saturday.
At a program held at the Raj Bhavan, Governor Narasimhan recalled his association with S.S. Barnala. The Governor lauded Barnala’s contribution in upholding the democratic principles and values. He said Barnala will always be remembered for his services as Governor in the united Andhra Pradesh during 2003-04.
The Governor said the nation has lost a great administrator and a wonderful human-being. The Governor, along with his Advisers and Raj Bhavan staff observed a two-minute silence in memory of late S.S. Barnala. (NSS)
