Governor ESL Narasimhan today extended his warm greetings to the people of two Telugu States on the occasion of Ugadi Festival on Sunday.
In a communiqué here on Saturday, the Governor said: “On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and to the Telugu people across the World”. He said Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope and the New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future.
Narasimhan also said he was confident that ‘Sri Vilambi Nama Samvatsaram’ will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all people and all sections of the society. (NSS)
