The sports stars fell in love during the 1999 Junior Badminton tourney and continued dating till 2005. They got married on July 17, 2005. Their marriage went on happily for two to three years. However, differences sprouted up later. Sensational roumers have done the rounds that Chetan did not like the conduct of Jwala and the reason was her connection with a former cricket star of Hyderabad.
The efforts of both families to keep them united have failed and the differences led to legal separation.
Though the family turmoil had not affected Jwala’s game, it took its toll on Chetan Anand. With the mental torment, he has fallen down in the game from his world ranking of 19 a couple of years ago.
