Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana issued Gazette notification to protect 90 acre of Wakf land located at Gutla Begumpet. With the interest taken by Chairman of Wakf Board, CEO, Mr. Mannan Farooqui met the officials of Printing and Stationery and ensured publication of the gazette.
In order to avoid legal complications, a caveat petition has been filed in High Court by Wakf Board.
It may be noted that 160 illegal occupants were given notice by Wakf Board asking them to produce documents of their ownership which have been rejected by Wakf Board.
The only way out for these illegal occupants is to become tenants of Wakf Board.
It is also reported that the construction work is in progress on this land which may block the passage for going to Masjid.
