Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has stated that YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy taking up election campaign was nothing but extending indirect support to ruling TRS party candidate in the Warangal by-election.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday along with TPCC official spokesperson Niranjan, Gutha has stated that the TRS has made YSR Congress party to participate in the Warangal by-elections only with the fear of defeat and alleged that the YSRCP entered into an inside pact with TRS. He also alleged that the BJP and YSRCP have colluded with TRS only to defeat the Congress party candidate. He alleged that the BJP and TRS parties’ leaders in Warangal by-elections were praising each others’ rule and on the other side asking votes individually. He said that the lone YSRCP MLA had cast his vote to TRS candidate in the Council elections. The TRS and YSRCP MPs extended their support to the Land Acquisition Bill, which was against the farmers, along with other Bills introduced by the Central government.

He also pointed out that the State Argiculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy did not participate in the program held in his own district though the two Union Ministers participated in the program, and alleged that the Nizamabd MP K Kavitha was behaving like a shadow CM. The Collectors, SPs played Bathukamma by welcoming her by extending Chief Minister level protocol.
Stating that the people were unhappy with the BJP rule, he explained that the people have to express their unhappiness by defeating the ruling party. He alleged that the Chief Minister was giving an impression that he has inaugurated four lakh houses by inaugurating merely 390 flats in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister was making statements violating election code. Exuding confidence that the Congress party will win the Warangal by-election, Gutha said that TRS, BJP and YSRCP’s conspiracies will not work in the election. (NSS)
