Gurugram lady teacher sells chhole kulche on road, says don’t want to be burden

Gurugram : If there is a will there is a way. This proverb aptly applies to this lady, who now runs a chole kulche stall in Gurugram to take care of her family. The woman Urvashi Yadav, who was earlier a nursery teacher, took up this constructive job after her husband met with an accident.

“My husband met with an accident and he may never walk again. Though my family can support me financially, I don’t want to be a burden that is why I have started my own work. And I also don’t want my children to suffer if my husband loses his job,” said Urvashi.

“My husband’s hip bone has collapsed, He will be on bed rest almost two to three months after the surgery and I don’t want to be a burden on anyone,” she added.

Describing her struggle, Urvashi said, “I realised I can’t save enough by working as a teacher. Since I love cooking, I thought of investing in it. This is my first step and I am looking forward to expand it. I always had a dream to open my own restaurant.”

Urvashi further said her husband works as a Manager with a leading construction company and her father-in-law is a retired Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander. Her daughter studies in Blueberry and her son in American Montessori Public School.
