According to the police Sheikh Saleem, a cab driver killed her after she asked him to give money to travel to the Middle East for a second time. The killer dumped her body in the Musi River at Rajendranagar after killing her.

According to sources, Nazia Begum, R/O Bowenpally, first got married to Mohammed Mahboob in 2005 and gave birth to a son. The marriage didn’t last long. Later, Nazia married another person in 2011 and had daughter from the second marriage. She left her second husband as well, as she was being harassed by him.

In 2015, Nazia went to the Middle East as a domestic helper. Before leaving for Gulf, she had made friends with a car driver, Shaikh Saleem. After returning in March 2017, Nazia was demanding Rs 70,000 from Shaikh Saleem to travel to the Gulf again.

After stabbing her on her chest and abdomen Saleem later dumped the body in the Musi River.

Police examined the CCTV footage which revealed Saleem going with the victim. He was arrested and sent to remand.
