Gulbarga artists to attend international symposium

A Delhi-based NGO has invited three noted artists of Gulbarga, Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel, Rehaman Patel and ShahedPasha at the Bhutan International Symposium organized by SMD Foundation.

Ambassador of India to Bhutan, Mr. V.P. Haran will be inaugurating a four day event on at Nehru Wangchuck Cultural Centre Art Gallery, Thimpu (Bhutan) on June 8.

The artist’s will be representing their art works and present a paper on various types of arts like abstract painting, Indian traditional art and Islamic art of North Karnataka at the 2nd International Art Fair.
Mr. Ayazuddin is a recipient of National Academy Award from Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and Bharat Gaurav Ratan award. He is responsible to renovate several monuments of Gulbarga, created awareness through his camera.He works on Techno Art which is made in photo shop and printed on canvas. His photography and painting have collected by many reputed organisations.

Dr. Patel has done extensive research on a study Bidriware (metal handicraft) in Karnataka. He paints abstract on various topics. He has attended several art camps, seminars and art exhibition in India and abroad. Presently he is working on the documentation of Islamic Art of North
Karnataka.

Dr. Pasha is a guest lecturer in Gulbarga University. He paints on dying art of Karnataka and got many state and national level awards for his work. He is one of the young artists in the city taking part actively in every art event.Courtesy:Karnataka Muslims
