This shocking report published in the Focus is about the little girl who in order to purchase smart phone and other gadgets, just like the one’s her friends were using, has turned to prostitution and apparently has no issues or guilt in doing so.
In today’s world, where technology plays a very important part in everybody’s life and high-end gadgets are seen in every child’s hand, then how can this 13-year-old be left behind? This little girl from Gujarat was bothered about something which any teenager of her age is probably not even aware of.
Her father died three years ago, which led her mother to run a grocery store. Whenever her mother leave for work, the girl use vacant house for prostitution.
Her mother came to know about this horrible incident, when she got pregnant. The mother tried to make her understand that prostitution is immoral and illegal, but the girl simply refused to budge. It was then, when the mother called up a counsellor of 181 Abhayam service to seek help.
The news further says that During the counselling session, the girl said that she was short of money and unable to buy all those expensive gadgets which her friends have, and that is why she chose to do so. She even tried to explain that what she was doing was not wrong.
