Gujarat poll: Jignesh Mevani attacked for the fourth time during last 24 hours

New Delhi: Dalit activist Jignesh Mevani, who came to discuss the Una movement was attacked for the fourth time during his campaign for Gujarat assembly election.

It was reported that People with BJP tags on their cars allegedly attacked Mevani’s convoy on Monday and Tuesday.

Mevani is contesting the Gujarat polls from Vadagam in Banaskantha district as an independent candidate. He has also declared support for the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.

For the first time in 22 years, due to anti-incumbency wave in the state, the ruling BJP is getting a tough challenge from the opposition.
