The crime branch has busted an inter-state gang of arms sellers following the arrest of seven persons, from whom a large cache of arms were also recovered, police said.
“We have recovered 10 pistols, three country-made fire arms and 27 cartridges from the seven persons arrested, who
were planning to sell those arms and ammunition,” Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad, Mayur Chawda said.
“On our raids in Rajkot and Gondal, we discovered that there was a gang who brought the arms from Bhind, MP and
were trying to sell it here,” he said.
Police suspects a conspiracy of the inter-state gang, to sell large amount of arms in the state. Further
investigation is on.
