New Delhi: Congress and BJP parties are campaigning hard against each other for the upcoming Gujarat polls that will be held on 9 and 14 December respectively.
Only 10 percent of Gujarat’s population are Muslims and the feedback received so far suggests that Gujarat’s Muslim population is left confused with Congress’ “soft Hindutva” strategy since Rahul Gandhi is seen visiting temples in poll-bound Gujarat.
BJP is usually criticized for its efforts to cause polarization in states ahead of elections.
Patidar leader Hardik Patel and also Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani also seen keen on joining Congress Party.
