Ahemdabad: The Patidar Ananmat Andolan Samiti ( PAAS) convener Hardik Patel on Monday said that they have put forward their issues before Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and have been assured that a solution will be found out in the next ten days.
“We’ve put forth our issues before the Chief Minister, we’ve been told solution will be found out in ten days and till then we will continue with our protest,” Hardik Patel told the media after his meeting with the Gujarat Chief Minister.
“They’ve put forth their demands. We have assured them the government will do whatever it can under purview of law,” Gurajat Law Minister Nitin Patel told the media here.
Earlier, Hardik had met with former chief minister of Gujarat Keshubhai Patel and demanded action against the ‘police atrocities’ on the Patidars after a rally in Ahmedabad on August 25.
“Police has tortured us and there was lathi-charge as well without any order. We will discuss about this. There must be case against the police,”said Patel.
“Many lawyers are with us in this. The children were beaten badly in the custody. We did not burn the buses. We were picked up from our houses and case has been filed against us,” he added. (ANI)
